Winston-Salem, NC – Forsyth Humane Society invites pet lovers from all corners of the community to participate in celebrating the furry companions that bring joy to our lives.
The Pet Calendar Contest invites pet owners to submit adorable photos of their beloved animals for a chance to be featured in the official Forsyth Humane Society 2025 Pet Calendar. This contest not only celebrates the special bond between humans and animals but also supports the mission of the Forsyth Humane Society in celebrating the wellness of companionship.
“We love watching the movement on the leaderboard every week as people enter their pets into the contest. With vote promotions every weekend, you never know who will end up in the lead” said Mark Neff, Executive Director of Forsyth Humane Society. “This contest not only gives pet owners an opportunity to showcase their beloved pets but also helps us raise awareness and funds to support our programs and services aimed at helping animals in need.”
The Pet Calendar Contest runs through the month of February. Entrants can submit their photos online at www.forsythhumane.org/petcalendar, where they will be entered into the contest for a chance to win one of the coveted spots in the official 2025 Pet Calendar. This weekend (2/16-2/18) particularly, new entries will get extra votes and be entered for a chance to win a gift basket from the Forsyth Humane Society re-tail store! There is no better time to get in the running, vote and share your beloved pet across your social networks while supporting shelter dogs and cats in our community!
In addition to the honor of being featured in the calendar, the top 13 winners will also receive a complimentary copy of the calendar and a photo shoot with Desilu Pet Portraits as their featured image in the 2025 Pet Calendar. The calendar will be available for purchase, with all proceeds going directly to support animals in Forsyth Humane Society’s care. Don’t want to enter your pet or no longer have one? “We love seeing all the wonderful submissions from our community members,” added Mark. “Especially the unspoken competition between cats and dogs that appears. Every photo submitted helps make a difference in the lives of animals in need, and we are grateful for the support of our community in making this contest a success.”
