Golden Retriever Puppy ‘In Training’ To Be a Service Dog Is the Cutest Thing You’ll See Today

We all know how exhausting it can be to learn a new job, and how tired it can make you at the end of a long day. Turns out, animals feel the same way! TikToker @lillexlex5 recently shared a video that proves it, and it’s hands down the cutest thing you’ll see today.

While at the airport, she spotted an adorable Golden Retriever puppy wearing a service dog-in-training vest. The little trainee must’ve had a long day because instead of working, he decided it was naptime. His mom even had to gently drag him through the security line!

Maybe Mom is the one who’s really in training! If this sweet pup didn’t make your day, nothing will! @lillexlex5 said, “Emphasis on ‘in training'” and said in the video’s caption, “You’re doing amazing, sweetie!” We couldn’t agree more!

Commenters’ Funny Reactions to the Sleeping Service Dog-in-Training Puppy

Viewers loved this cute video and had a lot to say about the adorable napping puppy, leaving more than 2k comments. @brickxxbrickbaby got 70k likes when she swooned, “He’s literally so sleeeeeepy!”

@kes2249 racked up 67k comments and started a conversation when she said, “Ignores outside distractions…” @Will Sherman680 agreed, “Unbothered prince.” @sarahbande922 added, “Right? At least he’s not running up to everyone and everything!”

Commenter @Vanessa cracked us up when she pointed out, “‘Out of service’ service dog. LOL!” @Nat Geo Animals added, “In training to nap!”

We also laughed when @Kate shared, “He’s really nailing the ‘stay calm in large crowds’ part!” @Nell replied with a story of her own, “I have a service dog. She treats napping like a full-time job, and I’ve been in situations like this handler before. She’s a working gundog as well and falls asleep despite being around live gunshots. On more than one occasion, I’ve had to move in a cue by pushing her gently with my foot because she wouldn’t get up, because she was napping, and she didn’t think it necessary to stand for less than 5 seconds LOL!”

@Amanda shared a reason the Golden puppy might be napping, “Mine is out of training, and she does this when I miss a medication reminder. Full-blown protest until I take my meds.”

Whatever the reason, this video made our day, and it sounds like it made everybody else’s, too!
