The Humane Society of Union County (HSUC) recently announced a $50,000 gift from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, the Vodka for Dog People. According to a press release, the funding will directly support HSUC’s expanded veterinary services and pet food pantry, helping more families and animals across Union County access essential pet care.
“This donation is more than a gift — it’s a vote of confidence in our mission,” HSUC Executive Director Sur said in the press release. “With Tito’s support, we’re able to reach deeper into our community, offering low-cost veterinary care and food assistance to pet owners who need it most.”
The funding comes at a critical time for HSUC, which has seen rising demand for its clinic services, foster and adoption programs, and pet food pantry. The donation will help cover equipment upgrades, outreach efforts, and expanded access to spay/neuter services — ensuring that more pets stay healthy, housed, and loved.
With the gift, HSUC is able to expand its veterinary services and support its pet food pantry, making a deeper impact across Union County.
As part of its year-end campaign, HSUC is inviting the community to “Double the Love, Double the Impact.” Every donation made this season will have double the impact — thanks to the momentum created by Tito’s support.
