WENATCHEE – PetHub, Inc., a leading pet technology company headquartered in Wenatchee, has teamed up with Kinship, a prominent player in pet care innovation, to roll out an ambitious pilot program aimed at enhancing post-adoption support for new pet owners. This pioneering initiative will be implemented in several regional animal shelters across the United States, providing new pet adopters with essential resources to ensure their pets remain safe, healthy, and happy at home.
PetHub, known for its award-winning lost pet prevention and recovery tools, has a mission deeply rooted in keeping pets “happy, safe, and home for the rest of their lives.” This new partnership with Kinship is a significant step in expanding that mission beyond Wenatchee, offering adopters across the country access to advanced pet care technology.
“We share the same mission as Kinship to make the world a better and safer place for pets,” said Lorien Clemens, Co-founder and CEO of PetHub. “Through this exciting initiative, we’re providing adopters with discounted access to our premium membership, which includes our innovative lost pet prevention tools. With our smart pet ID tags, we’ve already helped over 100,000 lost animals find their way back home, 96% of them within just 24 hours.”
The program is being introduced at several key shelters, including the Good Shepherd Humane Society in Eureka Springs, Arkansas; KC Pet Project in Kansas City, Missouri; Bitter Root Humane Association in Hamilton, Montana; and the Humane Society of Western Montana in Missoula. New adopters at these locations will receive a 50% discount on a one-year subscription to PetHub’s premium membership, which offers benefits such as GPS tag scan notifications, community alerts, and access to the PetHub Perks Discount Club.
Additionally, Kinship is providing adopters with a three-month free trial of its Kinship Premium app, a cutting-edge tool that offers 24/7 veterinary telehealth services. This app empowers pet parents to access expert advice on a variety of topics, from behavioral issues to health concerns, all from the convenience of their smartphones.
“At Kinship, we’re dedicated to transforming the experience of pet ownership,” said Melody Tan, COO of Kinship. “Our collaboration with PetHub allows us to offer new pet parents the tools they need to provide a happy and healthy life for their new companions, starting with the very first day of adoption.”
The partnership between PetHub and Kinship reflects a shared commitment to advancing pet care through innovative digital solutions. By launching this program, these Wenatchee-based pioneers are making significant strides in ensuring that pet adoption is just the beginning of a long, safe, and fulfilling journey for pets and their owners.
